Following the infamous relegation of Leeds to the championship in the 2003/04 season, financial troubles still loomed over the Yorkshire based side, players were brought in based on low wage demands and both the training ground and stadium were sold off.
Manager Kevin Blackwell did a tremendous job keeping the team away from a second relegation given the resources at his disposal, comprising a squad of mostly loan players and older players towards the end of their careers. Ultimately finishing in a fairly respectable 14th place in the League.
