How do you improve your cardio? Wouldn’t running/jogging me the easiest and best way to do it?

I think hills are a great way to improve cardio. I’ve always had coaches recommend them.

Football is a game of “short sprints”. Not saying running is bad, it is good for keeping fit. But you should focus a bit more on doing sprints and higher intensity workouts so you can have those mid-game bursts.
